We began supporting Hogar San Jose de La Montaña several years ago, after being informed about the home through a Colombian friend who had first-hand knowledge of the home's efforts in aiding young girls from "at-risk" environments.

"Mother Marissa" is an exceptional young woman, dedicated to safeguarding and supporting children in their journey to adulthood. The home welcomes girls aged 4-14, providing them with food, clothing, shelter and education through secondary level (referred to as college in Latin America, high school in the USA). Subsequently, the Hogar collaborates with other agencies to assist graduating girls in securing employment or pursuing higher education at the university level. Having experienced first-hand the remarkable work being done, along with the love and joy of Hogar San Jose de La Montana, we wholeheartedly support this endeavor!
